Nothing says holidays & winter like hot chocolate! This warm and sweet treat is one of the best but the high sugar can leave us crashing and not feeling great. Give this recipe a try for less sugar but certainly not less flavor!

In sauce pan, low heat, add 2 cups almond milk. Stir constantly. Warm about 2-3min. (maybe less if open flame) Add in protein powder and whisk until dissolved. Lastly, stir in and dissolve collagen powder. Serve warm and add marshmallows, optional
Makes 1 serving
Optional Substitutes:
Whole milk or heavy whipping cream instead of almond milk (+ fat)
Chocolate almond milk instead of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (+ sugar)
Peppermint extract 2-3 drops instead of Hershey kisses (less sugar)
*Note – if your protein powder tastes like chalk and you do not like it, this recipe will not make it magically better. Use a protein powder you like! lol
